This image of Frost’s father taken in 1961 on the streets of Hove Sussex is the source of inspiration for the lead tee. Levi’s tight, black soft leather jacket, Brylcreem slicked... Alan Frost was born cooler than James Dean. 40+ years later the response is the same "Your dad looks hot! What happened to you?" In 1989, while still at Art College Vince stumbled across these black and white portraits of his father and turned them into his first t-shirt range. Printing them on his studio apartment floor on the Sussex coast, job complete and barely dry, he then whisked them up to a shop in London’s Kings Road where they sold like hot cakes. Thanks Dad.
